My 2018 Goals.

Hello my lovelies,

Yes I realise it is nearly the end of January and I’m only just posting this blog. I have had the maddest two months with some big changes in my life and haven’t had the chance to sit and write this. You know how it is..

To catch you all up on what’s been going on, from September to November I was on a job hunt. I went to Australia but desperately needed to land myself a job for when I came home. Whilst in Cairns, I met a woman whose friend is in the Events Industry (my dream job) and there was a role going at her company. Fast forward a month and I started my new career as a Events Executive, all because of someone I happened to meet the other side of the world.

My commute is now considerably longer and with going to the gym after work, I leave the house at 8:45am and get home about 8:00pm. I feel like everything’s been passing me by and I’ve only just managed to catch up!

The whole of December, I didn’t have a weekend to spare. I was catching up with family and friends, then before I knew it, Christmas had come and gone. It was the first time I’ve been so unorganised for Christmas and I hated it! I never got a chance to stop and enjoy it for what it is.

The past few weeks I’ve been thinking about what I want to get out of 2018. Last year was a mixed year for me, but I’m adamant this year will be better! I can’t remember the last time a year started out so well for me, and it will continue. I’ve already got some exciting things planned, including a weekend break to Rome and my 21st Birthday! So here are my goals for 2018…

  • Open a Help To Buy ISA and Start Saving for a House. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for the past few years, but I’ve never been in a position where it was possible. But this year I will do it!
  • Go on More Adventures. I love going out and making memories, trying new things and just having fun. It’s definitely something I want to do more of this year and I want to use my blog to share that with you.
  • Keep Training and Working Hard at the Gym. Working out for me isn’t just about how I look. It’s about my mentality, learning to be confident and positive. This is why I’m so keen to stay focused, I want to keep bettering myself in every way possible.
  • Improve my Photography Skills. It’s something I love doing and definitely don’t do enough of. I’d love to take a course and learn how to use my camera to its fullest potential!

So there they are. My goals for 2018, at the end of the year I’m going to do a blog reviewing my goals, seeing which ones I actually achieved!

I am all about positive energy and hard work this year. Just having that mind set will allow you to achieve so much, in your personal and professional life. I have my dream job and I am so excited to see where it will take me, every opportunity that comes my way I will embrace with an open mind. My relationship could not be in a better place and I know it will only go from strength to strength.

What goals have you set yourself for 2018?

Love, Sophie
